Why Choose a Broaster Pressure Fryer?

Just as the song, “Under Pressure,” topped the charts in 1981 after combining the collective musical genius of Queen and David Bowie, the innovative Broaster Pressure Fryer enjoyed instant success after our Founder, L.A.M. Phelan, combined the technologies of pressure cooking and deep frying into a single, commercial cooking appliance in 1954.

Our robust line-up of Broaster Equipment continues to impress to this day. But with time comes competition. So, you may be asking yourself, “Why should i choose a Broaster Pressure Fryer vs. an alternative brand?”

The answer? There are PLENTY of reasons why:

11 reasons why Broaster Pressure Fryers are the bestOriginal Inventors of the Pressure Fryer

As previously noted, the Broaster Pressure Fryer is indeed the original pressure fryer – the first of its kind to deliver such a high quality of flavor at such a rapid cooking speed.

Upon its patented release in the mid-1950s, this new proprietary cooking process got its own proprietary name: Broasting®. To this day, all true Broasted chicken is cooked in a Broaster Pressure Fryer.

Equipment Reliability – Broaster is Built to Last

Broaster Pressure Fryers are distinctly engineered to consistently cook high-volumes of product with fast turnaround times in commercial kitchen environments.

That’s why all our equipment is made from quality materials with safety in mind. Broaster Fryers are designed for the long-haul, so you can focus on serving tasty food to your customers.

Exclusively Made in the USA

At Broaster Company, we make a conscious effort to keep our production dollars going to other hard working Americans.

While other brands have chosen to outsource their equipment production overseas to save a few bucks, Broaster Pressure Fryers are proudly and exclusively made in the U.S.A.

10-Year Cooking Well Warranty

In the event that the cooking well on your Broaster Pressure Fryer would need servicing, we offer a 10-Year Cooking Well Warranty to ensure your equipment is back up and running smoothly in no time.

In comparison, many of our competitors only offer 1-Year or 2-Year Warranties. At Broaster…we say, “That’s not good enough.”

We’re confident in our equipment. In fact – we haven’t had a cooking well failure yet during the 10-Year Warranty cycle. How’s that for reliable craftsmanship?

Significantly Less Shipping Weight Compared to Most Others

Although you may not think twice about sending a letter with a little extra postage, when it comes to shipping cost on large pieces of equipment…weight REALLY matters.

Luckily, we’ve engineered our Broaster Pressure Fryers to be lighter than nearly all other pressure fryers on the market, so you can pay less to have your equipment shipped to your place of business.

Technicians Appreciate the Ease of Service

No matter what brand of pressure fryer you choose, at some point it will need to be serviced by a skilled technician. But not all equipment is easily serviced…

Broaster Pressure Fryers, however, are deliberately designed for ease of service, so when the day comes for maintenance/repair work…your technician will thank you. And you can get back to serving up tasty chicken quickly and painlessly.

Built-In Oil Filtration System Comes Standard

All Broaster Pressure Fryer units come standard with a built-in oil filtration system to ensure employee safety with each new batch of chicken.

Having an oil filtration system built-in means you won’t have to purchase separate or additional filtration units and eliminates the need for your kitchen staff to handle hot oil – which saves you money and reduces risk.

Pound-for-Pound One of the Lowest Cooking Oil to Chicken Ratios

One of the best ways to fuel your profitability is to find ways to control food and operating costs. At Broaster, we’ve taken this into consideration as well.

That’s why (pound-for-pound) Broaster Pressure Fryers have one of the lowest cooking oil to chicken ratios on the market.

Not only does this help your bottom-line, but it produces far less greasy foods than other commercial cooking equipment to improve flavor and freshness for your customers to enjoy.

Units Have a Lower Energy Rating per Batch

When you’re pumping out batch after batch after batch of food, there’s lots of energy expended. And this results in some pretty significant energy bills, depending on the manufacturer you select.

One way to control these costs more easily is to reduce the amount of energy your cooking appliances use. When you operate Broaster Pressure Fryers within your commercial kitchen, you get energy-efficient units that use less power per batch than alternative cooking appliances.

Our Units Have Smaller Footprints Than Our Competitors

No one wants to spend time in a small, cramped kitchen at home, and having bulky cooking appliances that take up too much space in your commercial kitchen causes similar problems – safety concerns, workflow disruptions, and cooking frustration to name a few!

Our Broaster Pressure Fryers have a well-engineered, compact design with a smaller overall footprints than our competitors to help alleviate these sort of issues.

Round Cooking Well Offers Uniform Frying

Tell your customers to wave goodbye to unappetizing cold spots or uncooked portions of their chicken!

When cooking with a Broaster Pressure Fryer, food is placed in a round cooking well. Since there are no corners, heat is evenly and thoroughly distributed to produce chicken that’s crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside…every time.

Auto Temperature Compensation Available on All Broaster Units

Broaster Pressure Fryers come standard with Auto Temperature compensation – meaning the units will automatically adjust the cooking time to compensate for the temperature drop when your frozen or cold items are dropped into the oil.

This ensures fully cooked product each and every load.

Custom Product Photos Importable on SmartTouch Controllers

Sometimes showing is better than telling – especially in terms of employee training. With Broaster Equipment’s SmartTouch Controllers, training new employees on how to operate our cooking appliances is quick and easy.

Simply queue up the desired menu item on the built-in touch screen and walk your associate through the process. With the ability to import custom photos for each menu item, it can be as easy as matching the product in-hand to the photo on-screen.

#FAQFryDay: What is the difference between Broasted and fried chicken?

The #ChickenExperts know!
👇
Broasted chicken is battered and cooked in oil as well, but deep fried in a pressure cooker. It instantly locks in all the juices by immersion process cooking all sides of meat and once. One of the main differences between baking and frying is the heat source used to cook the food.

Broasted chicken is a trademark of the Broaster Company because we were the first to the bring pressure-fried, proprietary marinated chicken to the market and trademark the result! If it sounds familiar, KFC claims a secret recipe for pressure-fried chicken as well, but cannot call it Broasted chicken because they don’t own the trademark. The Broaster Company does partner with operators to serve Broasted chicken by following our program, using Broaster pressure fryers, and Broaster proprietary ingredients. #BetterBeBroaster #GenuineBroasterChicken #RestaurantIndustry
